ATLAS MEDIA CORP ANNOUNCES TWO MAJOR EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS

Jeanne McHale Waite to EVP/GM Abby Strauss to VP/Production

NEW YORK, NY (August 2, 2011) – Atlas Media Corp., the New York based reality and documentary production powerhouse, today announced two senior level executive appointments: Jeanne McHale Waite, most recently the company’s Senior Vice President, has been promoted to the new position of Executive Vice President/General Manager; and Abby Strauss, a veteran Executive-in-Charge of Production, has been appointed to position of Vice President/Production. Both appointments are effective immediately. The announcement was made by President & Executive Producer, Bruce David Klein.

In her new position, Jeanne McHale Waite will continue to facilitate Atlas Media’s growth, overseeing the production, post production, operations, and legal/business affairs departments, while facilitating communication between these departments and programming and development. Waite has been with Atlas Media for five years and has overseen a range of corporate and production-related initiatives. Before coming to Atlas, Waite served as CEO of Banyan Productions, the production company responsible for a variety of TV programming, including Trading Spaces.

As VP/Production, Abby Strauss will be responsible for all physical production at Atlas Media including budgeting, cost reporting, growth management, as well as hiring and supervising all EICs and Line Producers. A veteran Executive-in-Charge, Strauss has overseen productions for a diverse list of networks including HBO, TLC, Bravo, and Comedy Central. She will report to Jeanne McHale Waite.
